I was born and raised in Waalwijk, a town in the south of the Netherlands. After high school I wanted to do something more creative. I started my education at Interactive Performance Design in 2010, graduating with "The I in Team" in 2014.

I believe games can be the most interesting way of testing, debating and researching the way people think and feel. Rules of play and the spirit of challenge and competition are strong triggers for us and they can be used to evoke many different responses depending on the situation. Mainstream games have only begun to look at the tip of the proverbial iceberg, but many indie developers are exploring more difficult and different themes in unique ways.

In this, I find minimalism an interesting challenge. How to evoke strong emotions with nothing but abstract shapes is something I am very interested in.
